What are we doing to keep students and staff safe?

The safety and health of our students and staff are at the top of our priority list right now. Although it’s impossible to eliminate all the risk related to COVID-19, Converse County School District #1 is taking all the precautions required by state or local health orders, the Wyoming Department of Education’s Smart Start guidance, and the Wyoming High School Activities Association recommendations for districts. We are implementing all scientifically-based recommendations that can be reasonably implemented while taking a balanced approach to ensuring students and staff are safe and education can be delivered in a way that engages and challenges students.

What will a school day look like?

Although each school will look a little different depending on the specifics of that building, all of Converse County School District #1’s schools will operate under some of the same principles.

Online Registration is open!

There are two links on this page: one for returning Bearcats and one for students who are new to CCSD#1. Please click the appropriate link for your student(s). Please call your school or the Technology Office at 359-4099 if you need assistance.

Please download the "PowerSchool Mobile" app from your mobile device to login to the parent portal, because the online registration will not work from a browser on a mobile device.

Attention Parents of In-Coming Kindergartners

If you have not registered your child in kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year please click on the link below and fill out the form. It is essential to have students registered in order to be placed in a teacher's classroom, attend the FREE Kindergarten Jumpstart Summer Program, and to start receiving information about the upcoming school year. If you have already completed the registration process, you are good to go!

Summer Grab and Go Meals Location Change

The PRIMARY SCHOOL LOCATION for the GRAB AND GO MEALS will be closing. The last day will be June 3rd. If you would like to continue to receive meals, please pick them up at the Upper Elementary School or call for Delivery.

End-of-Year and Summer Information

Hello Bearcat families…
I just wanted to send you all a quick note to thank you again for your partnership and support over the past couple of months. Clearly this is a situation none of us anticipated nor planned for. We all had to adjust on the fly. We know it’s been difficult for families to manage adaptive learning and juggle work tasks and keep on top of these changing circumstances. But…our kids did remarkably well overall. Thanks for working with our teachers and staff.
