District Seeks Updated Family Information

Day one of adaptive learning is in the books for Converse County School District #1! Thanks to our students, staff, and families for making it a pretty darn good day! As expected, we had a few glitches. We’ll be working on solutions for those in the next couple of days. No doubt other issues will arise, but we can work together to address them.

State Extends School Closures Through April 30

The governor & state health officer have extended all Wyoming school closures through April 30. All of our schools will remain closed through that time. However, Converse County School District #1 is all set to roll out new learning to all of our students on Monday, April 6. Our adaptive learning website will "go live" on Monday morning and learning packets will begin to be produced for delivery to some students if needed. There will be a detailed message go out this weekend to all district families with the specifics you need for next week. Don't worry about doing anything before Monday! Enjoy some time with your families while staying safe and healthy.

School Closures Extended

Converse 1 families and community...

You may have heard the governor and the state superintendent have extended the school closings through April 17. This is not an unexpected development. The district has resources up on the website to re-engage students in learning, get back to a routine and a schedule, make up any work, and be ready for new learning on April 6.

Home Learning Resources

From now until April 3 we will focus on re-engaging students in the learning process and honing and developing study habits again. It will be an opportunity for secondary students to make up work, complete assignments, and extend learning. Elementary students will focus on priority learning standards and getting ready for the next new learning. Click the headline for more information.

News Update: March 22, 2020

Our spring break will come to an end tomorrow, so here's an update on what we know so far about the next two weeks. Only administrators (and a few critical staff) will work Monday, March 23. There is a call with the Department of Ed in the morning, and then we will have an administrative meeting to complete and finalize plans and get specifics out to everyone. We will share information as it becomes available to us, but here is what we know now.

School Lunch Plan

CCSD #1 recognizes that our students and parents come to rely on our Nutrition Services Department to provide their child the very best in nutritional meals. To meet the needs of our students during the COVID-19 school closure, CCSD#1 will be offering Grab-n-Go breakfast/lunch combo bags.
