POLICY REVISION AND REVIEW
Review and Evaluation
In an effort to keep its written policies up-to-date so that they may be used consistently as a basis for Board action and administrative decision, it shall be the policy of the Board to review its policies on a continuing basis.
The Board shall evaluate how the policies have been executed by the school staff and shall weigh the results. It shall rely on the school staff, students, and community for providing evidence of the effect of the policies which it has adopted.
The superintendent is given the continuing mission of calling to the Board’s attention all policies that are out-of-date or for other reasons appear to need revision.
Policies and regulations of the Board of Trustees may be amended by a majority vote of the Board at any regular or special meeting.
The chairman of the Board may appoint committees, as he deems necessary, for the purpose of inquiring into rules, regulations, and policies then existing to make recommendations for changes, additions, or modifications thereto.
