Wyoming State Fair and Rodeo
An annual event in August for over a hundred years!
Ayers Natural Bridge State Park
Only 15 minutes from Douglas.
Douglas Water Park
Our summertime attraction, featuring two 100+ foot waterslides!
Glendo State Park
Glendo is only a 30-minute drive from Douglas and offers fishing, boating, camping, and other recreation activities.
Information about Fort Fetterman and the Wyoming Pioneer Museum
The remains of the fort site are a 10-minute drive from town. The Pioneer Museum is in town and has many artifacts and exhibits from the 1800s.
Oregon Trail
The Trail ran right through our county. You'll find historical markers indicating the trail's route. Visit Wyoming Tales and Trails to learn more about the history of Douglas, the Oregon Trail, and Fort Fetterman.
