Collaborate With a Coach: This course will be a series of collaborative work sessions. Teachers will work with an instructional coach to conduct an impact cycle of the teacher’s choice. Teachers will identify the current reality (where they are now relative to what they want), set a student-focused goal, learn high-impact instructional strategies, and improve by turning ideas into action. The course is designed for teachers in grades K-12.

NBCT Maintenance of Certificate: Staff must be a current national board certified teacher or seeking to be a national board certified teacher. To receive this credit: Staff must complete the application from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, show evidence of intent by completing payment for re-certification/certification and submitting a voucher for reimbursement to the Assistant Superintendent, complete the process, and upload their evidence of submission.

Professional Learning for Target Knowledge:
Staff must obtain pre-approval from their supervisor. This course will consist of targeted training from another provider. Staff will apply the professional learning to a targeted area of their job responsibilities. To receive this credit: Staff must receive approval from their supervisor and the assistant superintendent. Upon approval, staff will complete the training with the provider and upload their certificate or transcript in the WyoLearn Canvas.

Learner-Centered Systems. The University of Wyoming College of Education is pleased to announce that three "drops" (Professional Development courses), co-developed by the College of Education and 2Revolutions through the Governor's RIDE initiative, are now available to Wyoming teachers. The 1 credit hour EDCI 5959 courses are available at a cost of $60.00/course; however, the content will also be available for free to anyone who wishes to sample the materials without submitting any assignments and without receiving credit. More drops are being developed. Current offerings:
Teachers completing three or more credited drops are eligible to complete a capstone course (EDCI 5480) for two University of Wyoming graduate credit hours. These credits can count toward the Curriculum and Instruction M.A. program. You must have completed at least three drops to be eligible for the graduate credit option.
