Bereavement Leave Regulation:
Bereavement leave shall be granted to the employee in the death of immediate family at the rate of 1 to 3 days per occasion plus 2 additional days traded for 1 sick leave day (up to five total), if needed. Any days after that will be granted from sick leave. The superintendent may extend the leave if there are extenuating circumstances.
