DHS Counseling

The Douglas High School Counseling Department is dedicated to preparing accountable life-long learners through academic support, career and post-secondary planning, and social and emotional support.

The counseling staff is available to all parents and teachers who may wish to discuss concerns regarding a student's academic progress, social growth, behavioral problems, conflict resolution, and/or any other special needs.

Per American School Counselor's Association (ASCA) and the National Standards for Students, the Douglas High School Counseling Department Staff is working towards meeting students' needs in the areas of Academic, Career, and Personal/Social Development.
