Graduation Requirements

The following are Converse County School District #1 Board of Education requirements for graduation, as evidenced by passing grades and with the proficient performance on local course based performance assessments:

Language Arts 4 years/credits 
Social Studies 3 years/credits
Mathematics 3 years/credits at the high school
Science  3 years/credits
Fine Arts ½ year/credit
Practical Art ½ year/credit
Health ½ year/credit
Physical Education 1 year/credit to include PE1
Technology Education ½ year/credit
Financial Literacy ½ year/credit
Electives 7½ credits in 4 years


PLEASE NOTE: All students who are considering NCAA athletics for Division 1 or 2 schools, please check with the Counseling office to register with the Clearinghouse.

**Remember students graduating in the Class of 2020 and thereafter must also take Personal Finance to graduate.**

**Students in the class of 2022 and beyond must take the approved sequence of Social Studies Classes to graduate. (Civics 1, World Studies I & II, US History (two semesters), and American Government.)**
