Staff Evaluations

The board believes that quality teaching is of critical importance to a sound educational program and that thorough and regular appraisal of teaching, supervisory, and administrative performance is crucial to improving the total educational process.  The development of a strong, competent, classified staff is essential in the smooth functioning of a school system.  The Board of Education expects all employees to make continuous efforts to improve their work and expects their administrator to assist them through supervision and evaluation.

Evaluation Timelines:

Goal Setting Form (All Staff):
Complete initial goals by October 15th.  Once completed, select "Save and Notify." At the end of the school year, when you have  uploaded all evidence of how you have met your goal, you will "Submit" your goal setting form.  

Administration/Directors: 
All administrators/directors will have their evaluation completed prior to the February board meeting when administrators/directors' recommendations will be presented to the School Board.  

Certified Staff:
Initial contract teachers will have their first evaluation completed by November 15thAt least one impact walk will be completed prior to the completion of their 1st evaluation. The second evaluation will be completed prior to the March school board meeting.

Classified Staff:
All classified staff will have their evaluation completed by May 15th.
